ABOUT THE WINE
Founded in 1867 and reimagined in 2013 under owner Miroslav Lekes, Réva farms its 7.5 hectares in Monforte d’Alba to 100% organic standards. With acclaimed oenologist Gianluca Colombo at the helm, the estate blends tradition with precision to craft vibrant, terroir-driven Piedmont reds. The 2022 vintage brings ripe, pure fruit and excellent balance across the range.
TASTING NOTES — 2022
Inviting aromas of red berries and wild cherry glide into hints of blueberry, vanilla and gentle sweet spice from thoughtful oak ageing. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, showing juicy red/blue fruits, a savoury lift and fine, polished tannins. Fresh, moreish and persistent on the finish.
FOOD PAIRING
Superb with roast red meats, spicy pasta (arrabbiata, ’nduja), aged cheeses, and charcuterie (salami, prosciutto). Also delicious slightly cool (15–16°C) for easy weeknight sipping.
