ABOUT THE SPIRIT
Maison Briottet is a family business, founded in 1836. Maison Briottet maintains a very high level of quality. It is the selection of the ripest fruit from the most suitable cultivars that results in the finest flavours; therefore contracting the right growers to produce the correct fruit is crucial.
TASTING NOTES
Rich in fruit, nice sweetness, enhanced by a backbone of fruit alcohol.
FOOD PAIRING
Add it to your white wine to make a kir, or Champagne for a kir royal.
FRIARWOOD SAYS
Originally, the family were ageing, blending, bottling and selling wines. Following the development of the blanc cassis aperitif (white wine with Crème de Cassis), the company's activities evolved to producing fruit crèmes, liqueurs, brandies and marcs de Bourgogne.
