ABOUT THE WHISKY
The Linkwood 12 Year Old is part of the Flora & Fauna series—a collection created by Diageo to showcase the unique single malts from some of its lesser-known distilleries. Situated near Elgin in Speyside, the Linkwood distillery has been producing elegant, complex whisky since 1821. Revered for its refined character, this 12 Year Old expression is a benchmark for Speyside style: subtle, floral, and exceptionally smooth.
TASTING NOTES
Delicately fragrant on the nose, with aromas of pear, honeysuckle, vanilla, and a hint of cut grass. The palate is soft and silky, revealing layers of orchard fruit, malted barley, and light oak spice. A wisp of smoke and gentle herbal notes linger on the long, balanced finish.
FOOD PAIRING
An excellent match for smoked salmon, mature cheddar, or honey-glazed nuts. Also pairs well with light desserts such as shortbread or vanilla panna cotta.
