Bodega Monteviejo is owned and run by the Péré-Vergé Family who also owns various other châteaux in Pomerol, namely Château Montviel, Château La Gay and the world famous Château La Violette. Monteviejo is a true expression of Argentinian character, made by the world famous winemaker Marcelo Pelleriti. The wines made at this very special property in Argentina are treated with the same commitment and care as those produced back home in Bordeaux. The vineyards, over 100 hectares, are located in the Tunuyan region, just 80km south of the city of Mendoza. Their aim is to create wines that can compete with the world's best. The yields are kept low, with vines planted at a density of 5,500 vines per hectare, to produce the best quality wine.

Aged for 18 months in new French oak, the Lindaflor is a pure Malbec with black cherry, blackberry and cedar. It has superb delineation and sense of femininity, carrying the new oak with style and panache. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe red fruits on the entry suffused with delicate spices. It has great focus in the mouth with a harmonious, silky smooth finish that lingers long and tenderly. Excellent.

This calls for complex flavour dishes, lamb, aged cheese and spicy food.

Great choice for dinner parties, you will not disappoint your guests!
