ABOUT THE WINE
Tenuta San Giacomo is a family-run winery located near the heart of Gavi, nestled in the rolling hills of the Ligurian Pre-Apennines. Owned and operated by the Bergaglio family, the estate cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards with deep respect for the land and a legacy of excellence that spans three generations. As pioneers in the production of Gavi di Gavi DOCG wines, their focus lies in sustainable viticulture and the belief that great Italian white wine begins in the vineyard.
TASTING NOTES
Made from 100% Cortese grapes, this Gavi di Gavi 2024 displays a pale straw-yellow colour with delicate green reflections. The nose is lifted and floral, offering subtle notes of acacia blossom. On the palate, it is dry and rounded, with bright acidity and an elegant mineral finish – a benchmark expression of the Cortese grape.

Ideal as an aperitif or served with light starters, seafood, and classic Italian fish dishes.
