ABOUT THE SPIRIT
Founded by Gilbert Miclo in 1965 in Alsace, the Miclo Distillery has become one of France’s most esteemed producers of premium eaux-de-vie. Originally wine and beer traders, the Miclo family pivoted to distillation with a focus on crafting exceptionally pure fruit brandies. Their Eau-de-Vie de Kirsch, made from ripe cherries, exemplifies their commitment to quality and authenticity. Each bottle captures the spirit of Alsatian tradition and the freshness of carefully selected fruit.
TASTING NOTES
Crystal clear in the glass with an intense aroma of fresh, ripe cherries. On the palate, it is dry, elegant, and fruit-forward with subtle almond notes from the cherry pits. Smooth and warming, the spirit offers a refined finish with delicate cherry persistence.
FOOD PAIRING / SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Traditionally served chilled as a digestif. Ideal in classic cocktails like the Black Forest Manhattan, or as an aromatic lift in desserts such as cherry clafoutis or chocolate mousse. Also delicious served ice-cold after dinner.
