ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Pierre Mayeul is the story of three long-time friends brought together by their shared passion for Burgundy and a commitment to crafting wines that authentically express each vineyard’s terroir and climat. With deep Burgundian winemaking roots, they vinify their cuvées in a historic castle in Ladoix and age them in 17th-century cellars in the heart of Beaune, combining tradition with precision in every bottle.

TASTING NOTES

This 2022 Bourgogne Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant bouquet of fresh red berries, delicate violet florals, and a gentle touch of spice. Subtle oak ageing introduces notes of vanilla and light toastiness. The palate is medium-bodied, silky, and beautifully balanced with flavours of ripe strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of black pepper, leading to a smooth, lingering finish with refreshing acidity.

Elevate this wine with a beetroot and goat cheese risotto, letting earthy and tangy elements complement the wine’s vibrant fruit.
