Domaine des Perdrix, located in the prestigious Côte de Nuits, is renowned for producing exceptional wines from prime Burgundy terroirs. The estate is helmed by Bertrand and Christiane Devillard alongside their children, Amaury and Aurore, continuing a legacy of excellence in winemaking. The Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru 'Aux Perdrix' is a nearly exclusive monopole of the estate, comprising 99% of the vineyard. The 2021 vintage benefits from meticulous vineyard management and traditional Burgundian vinification techniques, resulting in a wine of remarkable depth and elegance.
TASTING NOTES
The 2021 'Aux Perdrix' reveals an aromatic bouquet of ripe cherries, wild raspberries, and delicate floral notes of violet and rose. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of fresh red fruit, earthy minerality, and a hint of spice, complemented by silky tannins. The wine has a refined structure, showcasing the elegance and complexity for which this vineyard is celebrated.
