FIFTY POUNDS GIN
Made in the gin capital of the world, London’s southwest, Fifty Pounds Gin is made by using a century-old distillation method and is distilled under the guidance of a Master of the Worshipful Company of Distillers. A combination of a pure grain spirit, distilled 4 times before infusion and the finest botanicals around the globe gives Fifty Pounds its unique character. They source juniper from Croatia, coriander from the Middle East, orange & lemon peel from Spain, Angelica root from West Europe, Savory from France, Liquorice powder from Italy & Grains of Paradise from Western Africa. To avoid scalding the precious botanicals, they are infused by gently heating the stills with water jackets to control extraction.
TASTING NOTES
With an open greeting of juniper, the bouquet is followed by spice and citrus and an earthy undertone, while still keeping the spirit clean and pristine. A very precise but complex gin.
FOOD PAIRING
Best for dry martinis, but can blend harmoniously with creative cocktails as well.
FRIARWOOD SAYS
The name 'Fifty Pounds' refers to the sum of the gin tax enacted with the Gin Act of 1736 to control the 'gin craze' in London, but it failed to do so.

Orders of any value can be collected for free from either of our retail stores. Greater London next day deliveries will cost £10 for orders below £150 and are free above that.

All our shipments in mainland UK and Greater London are shipped next day. Cut off time for a next day delivery is 12PM. Next day is only available on working days. Shipment can be delayed because of external factors.
