If you're looking for a premium Chilean Sauvignon Blanc that overdelivers on quality, the 2021 Gran Reserve from Tres Palacios is a must-try. A family-owned winery founded in 1996 by Don Patricio Palacios and Maria Inés Covarrubias, Tres Palacios is located in the Cholqui Valley, a unique site tucked away in the Maipo Valley. Protected from extreme temperatures, this terroir allows for slow, even ripening — resulting in wines of great purity, freshness, and balance.
The vineyard’s volcanic-like setting and maritime influence give this Sauvignon Blanc its distinctive character, combining lively fruit, mineral tension, and exceptional ageing potential — a rare quality at this price point.
TASTING NOTES
Pale yellow with green reflections, this wine is fresh, vibrant, and mouth-wateringly crisp. Expect notes of grapefruit, lime zest, and a subtle saline minerality that brings lift and length.
