ABOUT THE WINE

Château d’Esclans Rosé is the flagship estate wine from one of Provence’s most prestigious producers. While names like Whispering Angel and Garrus have achieved global fame, this bottle bears the Château’s own name—reflecting its heritage, terroir, and exceptional craftsmanship. Sourced from old-vine Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino), the fruit comes exclusively from the Château's own vineyards in the heart of Provence, on elevated terrain northwest of Fréjus.

This is a finely tuned rosé, bridging the freshness of Whispering Angel and the structure of Rock Angel. Crafted for those seeking elegance with a little more depth, yet remaining refined and beautifully restrained.

TASTING NOTES

Pale blush in colour with a radiant shimmer. The nose is expressive, offering fresh raspberry, pink grapefruit, wild strawberry, and white blossom. On the palate, it is dry and silky, with gentle creaminess from partial oak ageing. Hints of peach and citrus unfold with savoury depth and a long, mineral-driven finish.

FOOD PAIRING

Versatile and food-friendly, this rosé pairs beautifully with grilled langoustines, roast chicken with herbs, Niçoise salad, or Provençal-style vegetables. Also excellent with sushi, light pasta dishes, and goat cheese.
