ABOUT THE WINE
Located in Rueda, one of Spain’s premier regions for white wine production, Bodegas Torrederos has been crafting expressive, high-quality wines since 1999. Founded by Serafín and José Mari, the winery owns over 100 hectares of vineyards, all situated within a 5km radius of the estate for optimal quality control. This Verdejo white wine exemplifies the bright, aromatic style Rueda is known for, offering superb value and a true taste of Spain’s most iconic white grape.
TASTING NOTES
Fresh and vibrant, this 2022 Verdejo opens with intense aromas of white peach, citrus, and a subtle note of fennel. The palate is crisp and layered, with refreshing acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish. A textbook Rueda Verdejo that is both lively and balanced.
FOOD PAIRING
Ideal with grilled seafood, fish tacos, or white meats. Also pairs beautifully with herbs such as dill, coriander, and parsley, making it a great match for herbed salads and Mediterranean cuisine.
