ABOUT THE WINE
Rooted in a family tradition dating back to the 1880s, the estate is led by Romain Couillaud, who joined his father in 2009 and took the reins in 2020. In 2023, Lucie came on board to develop cellar-door sales and support day-to-day operations. In 2024, the winery remains proudly family-run, with a focus on purity, precision and freshness that defines the house style.
TASTING NOTES
Fragrant apple and pear blossom lead, underscored by a gentle fresh-dough richness. The palate is saline and brisk, carrying citrus zest and a clean, mineral thread into a crisp, moreish finish.
FOOD PAIRING
A natural partner for oysters, moules frites, scallops and ceviche – also excellent with simply grilled white fish or a classic seafood platter.
