Classified as a 1er cru classe.Chateau Lafite Rothschild is arguably the most renowned wine in the Medoc. The owner of the estate is the Baron Eric de Rothschild. The Chateau is one of the largest Medoc estates. The production of the top wine is extremely limited, with only a maximum of 20,000 cases produced in the best years.
ABOUT THE VINTAGE
This beautiful, stunningly dense purple-coloured wine offers up precise notes of graphite, black cherries, cassis, scorched earth, and minerals. Medium to full-bodied with fabulous fruit, impressive richness, refreshing acidity, and sweet tannin.
