ABOUT THE WINE
The Reva winery in Monforte d'Alba dates back to 1867, but its modern era began in 2013, under the ownership of Miroslav Lekes from the Czech Republic. He appointed Gianluca Colombo as oenologist, and has worked tirelessly to perfect the wines produced on the small 7.5-hectare estate, while also seeking to improve sustainability. Vineyard practice is 100% organic.
TASTING NOTES
From 50-year-old vines; showing dazzling fresh red & dark cherries and charming crushed violets. A quintessentially soft wine, but with plush, mouth-filling dark plum, liquorice and prune flavours. An ultimate pizza or a mid-week wine. May even be enjoyed chilled on a warm summer day.
FOOD PAIRING
Suitable for all kinds of cuisine, from spicy chicken dishes to charcuterie. Perfect for tomato sauce-based pasta & pizza.

4500 bottles produced. Dolcetto, the little sweet one, so named for its ease of cultivation, makes charming wines, approachable in their youth yet not lacking in ageing potential.
