from 352 reviewsThe wine - delicious. The service prompt. The bottles delivered perfectly.
Really impressed with Friarwood – the ordering process was super easy, and my wine arrived quickly and really well packed. You can tell they care about the little details. Customer service was also fantastic; they were quick to answer my questions and helped me pick the right bottles. Great value for money too – I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!
Really impressed by this one — it's full of rich, bold fruit flavours with just the right amount of spice. You can tell it’s made with care, and it definitely drinks like a much more expensive wine. I had it with a grilled steak and it was spot on. Super smooth, nicely balanced, and just a bit of that earthy depth that makes you want another glass. Would happily buy again!
Tried this a while ago at a local restaurant and couldn’t believe my luck when I saw it on offer so had to buy a few bottles . So nice for the summer and definitely my favourite Rose.
The wine, Stephen Vincent, classic Californian chardonnay. Big, bold, deeply satisfying.
Service first class. Ordered 3:10 pm on a Tuesday. Arrived 10:15 am on the Wednesday - less than 24 hours.
Wine and service speak volumes. I’ll be back!
got this as a gift for my dad because i loved the whole story behind the name, and I was looking for something a big different for my dad who loves reds but always ends up drinking the classics. great success at the table - had it my mom's lamb roast and made my dad very happy.
this is now our go-to aperitivo when my friends and I have our monthly catch-up. pleasantly less sweet than the big brands from the supermarket. if we do not feel like doubling up on the alcohol, we mix if with grapefruit soda and it's just a delight. (here is a lovely photo of our pre-dinner drinks!)
Tried this wine at a restaurant in Bath, where the Festivo Malbec perfectly complemented our delicious dinner and helped make the evening truly memorable.
I recently returned from Portugal, where I discovered Per Se for the first time—and it instantly became a favourite! It's the perfect refreshing drink for summer. I was pleasantly surprised to find it available here in the UK at a reasonable price too.
I love prosecco and have adored the Villa Folini since I discovered it. Its refreshing citrus flavours lead to a clean and crisp finish.
A superb sipping rum that offers excellent value in the premium segment. It is a memorable treat for those exploring aged rums beyond the mainstream.
I happened to pop into the parsons green shop last xmas when the producer was offering this wine to taste. I have to say i found it delicious, round and complex, but still fresh! I dared propose to my husband to have it for xmas dinner instead of champagne - and he was swayed too. We had it with salmon canapés first, but we ended up opening another bottle with the dessert too!
We had this amazing Brunello at a friend's wedding. I loved the fact that although being dry, it still retains all its black fruits. I took it around to the in-laws for sunday roast and it was a great success!
We were so glad to find this wine again after our trip to Italy! We were cycling in the north-east and stopped at their wine bar under a beautiful villa. we enjoyed their lovely jammy Ripasso and a gorgeous sunset. We asked the girl at the bar if we could find the wine in the uk (we only had hand baggage!), and she mentioned Friarwood! So glad to have re-discovered the wine and this beautiful shop.
I am always on the lookout for new and exciting Pinot Noir, and I came across this 2023 Reguta, Pinot Nero, a light, vibrant Pinot from Italy. Juicy style, yet with a nice balance of fruit and body, I definitely recommend it with some antipasti, or just drunk on its own as it has a silky-smooth mouthfeel!
