Friarwood wine merchants was established in 1967 and has developed into one of the most dynamic independent wine merchants in the country. A young and enthusiastic team continue to keep Friarwood at the forefront of the UK wine trade.

The Friarwood wine and spirits portfolio consists of some 300 producers, domaines and chateaux carefully selected from the fine wine growing regions around the wine producing world. 

Enviable links with wine producers across the world: from the classified chateaux of Bordeaux to the boutique wineries of the New World give us access to enviable allocations of wine. Accordingly, Friarwood can cater for those in search of the big names, but we also pride ourselves on our ability to source a range of wines from lesser-known producers that you will not find anywhere else in the country.
