2015 Conti di San Bonifacio, Sustinet

The estate, in the Maremma region of Tuscany, was purchased in 2002 by the Conte di San Bonifacio, Manfredo, and his English wife Sarah. The first vines were planted in 2004 and the vineyard now comprises 7 hectares. Winemaker Luca has an exceptional talent for crafting Tuscan wines using international varieties.

This Armagnac is specially bottled by Eric Artiguelongue, previously a cellarmaster at a renowned Armagnac estate. Eric's Armagnac are aged in oak barrels until they have reached their optimum quality and then stored in glass to maintain their peak condition. Eric then bottles the Armagnacs himself. In a region often stymied by tradition, Eric's Armagnacs excite in all their un-manipulated glory. There's no use of boise, caramel or sweeteners here.
