Since the first vineyards were planted with Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand’s South Island region of Marlborough in 1977, no one could have predicted the impact Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc would have on the world of wine.

Clifford Bay Estates is located at the river mouth of the Awatere Valley, just to the south of Blenheim, Marlborough. They have always produced outstanding varietal wines, with character, depth and unquestionable quality.

Clifford Bay continues to shine in wine competitions, and this year, as always, the current vintages have won a plethora of awards and medals. The continued accolades are indicative of the Estate itself, which has improved every year since its inception in 1997.
