ABOUT THE WINE
Vincent Prunier has come a long way since 1988, when he had only 2 hectares to work with; 30 years later he now has 13 hectares in Auxey-Duresses, Saint Romain, Meursault, Chassagne, Puligny and Saint Aubin. By the end of the 1990s his estate had already begun earning a reputation for excellent quality and consistency, derived from hard work in the vineyard and carefully controlled yields.
TASTING NOTES
Deep colour belies the impressive delicacy on the palate. Ripe tannins, typical of Pommard, and a fresh fruit-character, enhanced by the delicate touch of Vincent's style, make this a truly delightful wine.
FOOD PAIRING
Very suitable for a roast chicken, with asparagus and mash on the side.
