ABOUT THE WINE
Under the leadership of Patrick de Lesquen, this up-and-coming St-Emillion estate merits a lot of attention from the value-conscious consumer. Under the consulting eye of Patrick Valette the wines are smooth, dense and surprisingly long-lived.
Chalky mineral notes, an angular personality, and a dark ruby/purple colour with some sweet and sour cherry notes with lots of earth and strong tannins. Stony, earthy, thyme and plum nose. It certainly will last, given its structural profile.
Great with grilled steak, aubergine pasta or bacon tartlet.
Classic Saint Emilion style, best drank now.
