Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste is classified as one of eighteen Cinquiemes Crus (Fifth Growths) in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. Situated a few kilometers from the town of Pauillac, the vineyards of Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste total roughly 36 with Cabernet Sauvignon making up 75% of the total plantings Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste produces about 12,000 cases of wine in an average year.
ABOUT THE VINTAGE
2000 is a great vintage with exceptional cabernets sauvignons. This Grand Puy-Lacoste is presenting a beautiful dark red color. The nose, very complex, reveals blackcurrant, tobacco and liquorice aromas. In the mouth, we have a lot of tanins which are very ripe. This wine is powerful and elegant with a beautifuk balance. All is smoothness and purity in mouth. A great success!

Orders of any value can be collected for free from our Parsons Green Shop. Greater London next day deliveries will cost £10 for orders under £100 and are free above £100. UK mainland next day deliveries will cost £25 for orders under £250 and are free for orders above £250.
