Making its debut in 1986, La Petite Eglise is technically the second wine of Chateau l'Eglise de Clinet, which has become one of the finest estates in Pomerol since it was acquired by Denis Durantou in 1983. It is not regarded as a second-wine by the proprietor, however, since the terroir for La Petite Eglise is on sandy soils, rather than the more traditional deep, loamy classic Pomerol clay of the Grand Vin.
TASTING NOTES
Wild flowers, cherry fruit and even a touch of cigar-box and cedar on the nose. Medium-bodied and accessible, with red berry fruit. The finish is refined and displays superb length for a second wine; crafted for early enjoyment.
FOOD PAIRING
Great with wholesome meaty dishes, shepherd's pie would be an excellent pairing.

Winemakers in Burgundy since 1453, the current generation of the Nudant family manages some 16 hectares of small parcels dotted throughout the Cote d'Or. Vineyard work is all carried out by hand, in the spirit of minimal intervention. The Santenots vineyard is located in the southern part of Volnay, near the village of Meursault. The particular structure of the soil makes the Santenots a very aromatic and elegant wine, delicately complex and concentrated all at the same time.
TASTING NOTES
Delicate violet and red berry fragrance, with a hint of oak. Delightful on the palate, with spicy mingling with red cherry fruit in perfect balance. Impressive structure for long-term ageing, but excellent at the moment, especially with food.
FOOD PAIRING
Excellent for rich dishes, duck, always the classic pairing for Pinot noir, would be ideal.

The section of the Santenots vineyard which contributes to this wine is farmed by the Nudant family under a rolling contract, and therefore counts as a negociant wine hence Jean-Rene Nudant on the label.

TASTING NOTES
A delicate expression of Ladoix, with a cherry-forward fruit character supported by raspberry compote, fresh forest mushrooms and red plums. The elegant complexity is evident in the long fruity and savoury finish.
FOOD PAIRING
Pairs brilliantly with honey roast turkey, pheasant with black peppercorn jus and veal osso buco.

It is perhaps the only Bordeaux chateau designed as a traditional Tudor estate in the entire region! At the start of the 19th century, the well-known Scottish, animal painter, John Lewis Brown purchased the estate and Bordeaux wine vineyards. As was the tradition in the Medoc at the time, he renamed the estate Cantenac Brown. More recently, in 1989 AXA, the massive insurance company with several Bordeaux chateaux in their portfolio including Pichon Baron in Pauillac, and estates in Pomerol and Sauternes bought the vineyard. AXA sold the property in 2006 to the Halabi family.Today, the Simon Halabi family are the owners of Chateau Cantenac Brown. One of the first moves made by the new owners was to place Jose Sanfins in charge of the wine making at Cantenac Brown.
Among the finest Cantenac-Browns of the last three decades, the saturated purple-coloured 2015 is a sleeper of the vintage. Loaded with chocolatey black currants intermixed with sweet earth, cedar, and spice box, it exhibits medium to full body, surprisingly ripe tannin for a wine from this estate, a multi-layered texture as well as mid-palate, and a finish that lasts 25-30 seconds.
Any game, red meat, super creamy cheese and fatty fish cooked with complex herbs and spices. Lamb curry.
This is the wine for you if into earthy, tannic full-bodied wines.

Château Marquis d'Alesme is a distinguished wine producer that has been tending to an exceptional terroir in the heart of the Bordeaux region since 1616. The vineyard, spanning 15 hectares, is managed in a meticulously individual manner, much like a beautiful garden, with utmost care and craftsmanship by the team.
TASTING NOTES
The grapes of this wine were carefully selected by hand and underwent rigorous sorting in both the vineyard and cellar. Fermentation took place in 80 hl truncated wooden and stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels. The wine was aged in French oak barrels, consisting of 65% new and 35% first-fill barrels, with 3 months spent on lees. This Margaux wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. The nose is complex and rich, with fragrances of black fruit such as dark mulberries, liquorice, and smokiness. The palate has a lively vibrancy, followed by powerful yet, silky and elegant tannins. This wine is not shy but provides lush exuberance with layered, deep fruit notes with savoury complexity, which linger in the long, showy finish.

Juicy and tender grilled lamb chop with a balsamic reduction with creamy garlic mashed potatoes, and mushroom duxelles

Beautiful garnet colour, with purple tints. The nose develops aromas of chocolate, spices and pepper with black cherry notes. On the palate, the wine is full and rich with round and silky tannins. Persistent, powerful and smooth wine with a wonderful complexity.

Perfect match for red meats, game birds such as pheasant or partridge, veal rolls as well as raw milk cheeses.

It can be served from now at 13-14° C or kept in cellar between 7 to 10 years. Great ageing potential.
