ABOUT THE WINE

Founded in 1926 in the heart of Vergisson, Domaine Guerrin remains a family-run estate, now in its fourth generation. The Guerrin family meticulously cultivates over 14 hectares of vines, divided into more than 35 small parcels, each with unique characteristics. This patchwork of terroirs—especially their high-elevation plots on white limestone—yields wines of remarkable individuality and elegance.

TASTING NOTES

The 2023 vintage is refined and energetic, offering expressive aromas of white peach, apricot, and acacia blossom, with delicate hazelnut undertones. On the palate, it is precise and textured, with bright acidity and an underlying chalky minerality. Fermentation in French oak barrels (20% new) and lees ageing with regular bâtonnage enhance the wine's roundness and complexity, while maintaining a fresh, linear profile.

An ideal match for rich seafood dishes like crab gratin or clam chowder, creamy poultry like chicken escalope, or a velvety leek and potato soup. Also excellent with mild cheeses or confit dishes.
