ABOUT THE WINE
Romain Couillaud comes from a winemaking lineage stretching back to the 1880s. After joining his father in 2009, he took the helm of the family estate in 2020, carrying forward generations of expertise. In 2023, his partner Lucie brought her talents to the operation, focusing on cellar door sales and daily vineyard management. Together, they continue a proud tradition of family winemaking that spans nearly 150 years.
TASTING NOTES
This pale gold Sauvignon Blanc reveals layers of white stone fruit complemented by distinctive mineral aromatics. On the palate, it delivers a supple entry with excellent balance—fresh, fruity, and elegantly structured. A textbook example of Loire Valley terroir, showcasing the region's signature minerality and crisp character.
FOOD PAIRING
An ideal match for fresh seafood or enjoyed solo as an aperitif. Its clean mineral finish makes it particularly versatile with shellfish and light summer fare.
