ABOUT THE WINE
Initially specially made for a Las Vegas company by Bertrand Senecourt, the Beau Joie brand combines the superb quality of Champagne with the showmanship of Las Vegas. Champagne Bertrand Senecourt dates back to 1972. With a long-standing tradition and expertise of over 50 years, the estate is still family run by the fourth generation. Beau Joie stands for uncompromising quality, which is essential for Champagne and skilfully combines it with a premium feeling and packaging that also helps the bottle to stay chilled for longer periods, thanks to the metallic bottle cover. A Champagne to impress all the senses…
Aged three years on the lees, with very low dosage (added sugar) – but this is deceptive, as the champagne seems sweeter on the palate, with gorgeously bright and pure citrus and apple flavours. Notes of butter biscuit and brioche are not shy and make for the quintessential Champagne bouquet, both on the nose and persistently on the palate as well. Lively but non-intrusive bubbles that don’t mask the smooth experience of the wine. Refreshingly crisp and clean on the finish, leaving the palate desperate for another sip.
Best as an aperitif and to open the appetite. Would pair nicely with smoked salmon canapes and salmon roe, making it perfect for all sorts of cold finger foods for receptions. However, also brilliant with creamy and fried fish like haddock and chips with tartare sauce and seabass with a cream sauce and to take the main stage on a dining table.
The copper ‘armour’ adding to the premium and unique feeling of the Champagne in which the bottle is clad is made from 100% recycled materials and helps the bottle remain colder for longer outside of the fridge or ice bucket. A big convenience and an extra touch for enhancing the whole experience of serving and having Champagne for cherished and special moments.
