Armagnac

The Armagnac region lies between the Adour and Garonne rivers in the foothills of the Pyrenees. This historical region is permitted to grow grapes which are used in the manufacture of brandy that may be labeled with the Armagnac name.

ARMAGNAC DELORD
Established in 1893 by Prosper Delord, this is a family concern, now in the hands of the 3rd and 4th generation Delord brothers.

Distillation takes place in November and December in traditional alembic stills, which produc less than 30 litres of magnificent Eau-de-Vie per hour.

This Eau-de-Vie is then matured for a minimum of 15 years, in cellars which contain carefully maintained casks of every vintage since 1898. the Armagnac is all hand bottled, and displays the bottling date on the label.
