VARIETY: Barbera 100%


GRAPE ORIGIN: This wine comes from several vineyards grown in Barolo, La Morra, Novello and Castellinaldo.

COLOR: Ruby-red.


FLAVOR: Complex and fruity to start, it develops elegant, ethereal and spicy notes .

TASTE: Dry, intense, medium to full-bodied. A beautiful balance of red cherry fruit alongside herby savoury notes.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13% by vol.

VINIFICATION AND AGING: Maceration takes place in wooden vats with  pumping over and punching down of the cap. Followed by Malolactic fermentation. The Barbera d'Alba is then aged for 18 months in wooden barrels. Finally left so settle in bottle. Time in bottle varies according to vintage.

FOOD MATCH: A generous wine, which works very well robust courses.
