DOMAINE DE CABIDOS
Situated in Bearn near the Pyrénées in the South West of France, this Estate has now a cult following from top French sommeliers. With Vivien and Edouard de Nazelle and with the help of Jean-Michel Novelle, the famous Swiss winemaker, the estate is reviving the fame of the outstanding grape variety from this part of the world: Petit Manseng. Also used to produce Jurançon, Petit Manseng is more highly rated than Gros Manseng and produces small, thick skinned berries which yield very little juice.
An unusually crafted wine from Domaine de Cabidos. This distinctive cuvée retains some of Sauvignon
Blanc’s trademark characteristics, including delicious asparagus aromas, and fresh balancing acidity.
Careful oak aging adds an additional weight and complexity to an already aromatic wine.
