CHATEAU GRAND PUY LACOSTE – 5eme CRU CLASSE
Chateau Grand-Puy Lacoste produced wines which are typically robust, vigorous, concentrated yet elegant. The vineyards have not been altered much since 1885 and are on deep gravel. The consistency of the vineyards is reflected in the consistency of the wines themselves. Tending to age very well, the richness of recent years can be tempered by the 10 years or so in the bottle. With time these wines are absolutely exemplary of what good Pauillac can be.
