Gonzagne Lurton, Dufort Vivens owner, is very clear about what guides his approach. Aiming for wines that are ‘not opulent, but combine both density and finesse’. Certainly Lurton has a mind of his own, and has not been afraid to do things a little differently if he sees reason for it. He chooses to make wine which is not overly flash, but exudes elegance in its understated complexity. He continues to produce fabulous wines that will continue to surprise and delight Margaux.
