CHATEAU COS D'ESTOURNEL – 2eme CRU CLASSE
The elaborate appearance of the Chinoise and Zanibarian decorated winery belies a very serious and impressive winemaking approach. Cos D’Estournel is a rich wine with a more luxurious feel than some of the other Saint-Estephe, but it is an elegant richness rather than a rugged one. This estate is often considered the leading cru in Saint-Estepehe as it develops the most in bottle. It is a very rewarding wine to age, as drunk young it is often overwhelming.
