Domaine Richard, Condrieu 'L'Amaraze' 2008.

The soil at Condrieu is granitic-sandy, with a fine overlay of decomposed flint, chalk and mica, producing concentrated, complex wine with a delicate mineral-edge.

Condrieu l'Amaraze is a fine, fruity and floral wine, showing honey-suckle, peaches, lime and apricot. The wine is dry but the richness of the fruit almost gives the impression of sweetness.
