Of all the Cornas producers I have ever tasted, the most memorable is Robert Michel. His wines have the Cornas trademark - intense and concentrated fruit - but with a more supple and generous texture. They are bright, fleshy and round, with black fruits, chocolate, and earth characters. They are impeccably balanced with excellent structure.

Super-ripe blackberry, plum and blackcurrant fruit, with earth and tobacco notes. It is a firm structured wine with an amazing fruit concentration. It has layer after layer of flavours that linger on and on. This is a wonderful Cornas that will continue to offer rewarding drinking for 8-10 years.
