This property is the remnant of a much larger estate, which in the 18th century included Cheval Blanc, amongst others.

Under Thierry Manoncourt, the winemaking and consistency have been first class, despite it's not showing well in its youth (especially when tasted alongside its Merlot dominated neighbours).

mature vintages are a real treat, with fine texture, subtle spice and moderate concentration. Figeac produces wines of impeccable elegance.
