CHATEAU PONTET CANET – 5eme CRU CLASSE
Chateau Pontet-Canet is in the North of Pauillac and adjoins Mouton-Rothschild, since 1999 Michel Rolland – wine consultant extraordinaire – has been the consultant winemaker.
Pontet-Canet is stylistically powerful and the quality has improved greatly in the last 15 or so years. Pontet-Canet offers richness, power, tannin and complexity. It can lack finesse which drunk too young, but mellows with age and becomes incredibly elegant and grand.
