Friarwood

Named after a British general who fought under Wellington, Chateau Palmer lies in the hamlet of Issan, and many of its vineyards were once part of Chateau D’Issan.

Chateau Palmer often performs better and more consistently than some 2^nd growths, only about half of the crop makes up the Grand Vin! Palmer needs a lot of time in bottle, though it can be drunk young in some of the lesser vintages. Even with its good dose of Merlot it is a wine with great strength and power.
