Chateau Giscours – 3eme Cru Classe
After its acquisition by the Tari family in 1952, much time and money has been invested in Giscours. It is now one of the largest and most important properties in Margaux.
The wines are deep coloured with a pronounced bouquet combining richness and fruit, while the palate is fruity, vigorous and full bodied. Because of the power of the wines, they require 8-10 years aging in their best vintages.
Chateau Giscours is also the home ground of the Bordeaux Giscours Cricket Club.
